so it was my birthday. I lived to be 32. Hooray.

However that and an old friend from my teenage years getting back in touch after a 13 year break has thrown me into a spiral of self..... somthing?
I chose to delete the rant I just wrote up, cause lets face it EVERYONE has had issues with being bullied by fucking stupid "adults" in their teenage years.

So if you're 15 and reading this.
yep it fucking SUCKS to be 15, don't worry life gets better and there's a really good chance you are not as completely useless and doomed to fail as they make out.
And Oh yeah to the guys in particular, trust me, you will eventually get laid.
And its worth the wait. ^^

OK so I'm still working my little hands to the bone on a pastel, its really nearly done, however it may take a while to get a photo of it if this weather holds up, cyclonic outside.

So as mentioned in my last little own trumpet blowing session, I am on the cover of the 10th Anniversary edition of teh Pastel Journal (April 2009) with this portrait of the lovely Carol


However it seem that for reasons best known to themselves, they have decided to put this image


on the cover of the annual Portrait issue of the Artist's Magazine,(April 2009 also) as well as the previously mentioned feature article about myself.

EDIT: I just realized that was exactly 5 years ago to the day today I did my first ever painting. what a way to celebrate!


So it seems my plans to take over the world are starting to come to fruition at long last. The Intraweb is bringing me news which I shall share with you.
